Systeme.io Review 2026: My Honest Review After 2 Years & 9 Months

Systeme.io Review: My Honest Experience After 2 Years & 9 Months

I've been using Systeme.io for over 2 years and 9 months, so this isn't a review based on signing up yesterday and clicking around for an afternoon. I've had enough time with the platform to see what I actually use, what saves me time, and what occasionally gets on my nerves.

Overall, my experience has been very positive. I've personally run into just one minor bug that has annoyed me, and it happens when highlighting text in the page text editor. The menu can remain visible until the page is saved. That's frustrating, but it hasn't been a deal-breaker for me.

Quick Verdict: Is Systeme.io Worth It?

If you want my short answer, yes, I think Systeme.io is worth trying, especially if you want several online-business tools without building a complicated stack of separate subscriptions.

What I like most is not one individual feature. It's the fact that funnels, email marketing, automation, courses, digital products, affiliate management and other business tools can live inside the same platform.

That's the part that becomes more valuable the longer you use the platform. You aren't constantly asking yourself which tool should handle this next step. A lot of the basic pieces are already connected.

My bottom line

After more than 2 years and 9 months of use, I rate Systeme.io 4.6 out of 5. It isn't perfect, and I wouldn't pretend it is. But the one minor editor bug I've encountered hasn't been enough to make me leave the platform.

What Is Systeme.io?

Systeme.io is an all-in-one online business platform. Instead of using one service for landing pages, another for email marketing, another for courses, another for affiliate management and another for automation, Systeme.io puts many of those functions together.

The current platform covers sales funnels, email marketing, marketing automation, websites, online courses, affiliate management, webinars, communities, CRM pipelines, booking calendars, physical products, SMS marketing, sub-accounts, Creator Stores and white-label functionality.

That doesn't mean every feature is the deepest specialist tool available. That's not really the point. The appeal is having the core pieces connected in one place.

My Systeme.io Experience After 2 Years and 9 Months

This is the part of the review I think matters most.

I've been using Systeme.io for over 2 years and 9 months. During that time, I've used it for different parts of my online business rather than simply testing a few features and calling it a review.

I've worked with funnels, pages, email marketing, automation, digital products and other parts of the platform. That long-term exposure has made my opinion much less about the initial excitement of a new tool and much more about whether I still want to open the platform when I actually need to get something done.

And I still do.

The one bug I've personally encountered

When I'm highlighting text inside the page text editor, I've experienced an issue where the menu doesn't disappear immediately. It can remain there until I save the page.

It's a minor annoyance rather than something that has stopped me from using the platform. I'm mentioning it because a real review shouldn't pretend the software is flawless when it isn't.

Apart from that minor issue, my overall experience has been good. If I had encountered serious reliability problems repeatedly during almost three years of use, my rating would obviously be very different.

What Features Do You Get With Systeme.io?

Systeme.io has expanded considerably beyond being just a funnel builder. Some of the newer additions are especially interesting if you're trying to consolidate your online business tools.

01Systeme.io Sales Funnels

Funnels are one of the core reasons people discover Systeme.io in the first place. You can create opt-in pages, sales pages, checkout flows, thank-you pages and other funnel steps.

I like the fact that the funnel doesn't have to sit separately from the rest of the marketing system. A person can enter through a page, become a contact, receive emails and eventually reach an offer without requiring several unrelated platforms.

If you're specifically interested in this side of the platform, see my Systeme.io Sales Funnel guide.

Want ready-made funnel ideas?

You don't have to start every funnel from a blank page. Systeme.io has a template library covering different types of marketing funnels.

02Systeme.io Email Marketing

Email marketing is another major reason I find the platform useful. You can build campaigns, send newsletters and connect email follow-up to the rest of your funnel.

This matters because collecting an email address isn't the finish line. You need a way to follow up with that person, educate them, make an offer and continue the relationship.

Read my dedicated Systeme.io Email Marketing guide for a deeper look at this part of the platform.

03Systeme.io Marketing Automation

Automation is where the different pieces start becoming a system rather than a collection of tools.

You can connect triggers, tags, campaigns and actions to create follow-up sequences. For example, someone can opt into a funnel, become part of an email sequence and receive different follow-up based on what they do.

For a small business, that can save a surprising amount of manual work.

04Systeme.io Website Builder

Systeme.io also includes website-building functionality. I wouldn't tell someone that they need to abandon every specialized website platform and move everything immediately. But if you're starting an online business and want your website, pages, funnels and marketing tools connected, having them together is convenient.

05Systeme.io Online Courses

If you want to create and sell an online course, Systeme.io can handle the course side as well as the marketing around it.

That's important because creating a course is only half the problem. You also need a way to collect leads, sell the course, take payment and follow up with potential customers.

Want to actually launch a course?

If your business revolves around teaching something, I think this is a more interesting way to look at Systeme.io than simply asking whether it has a course builder. The bigger question is whether you can build the marketing system around the course.

06Systeme.io Affiliate Management

Systeme.io also has built-in affiliate management. That means you can create an affiliate program around your own products instead of automatically needing another affiliate-management platform.

This is particularly interesting if you're selling courses, digital products or other offers and want other people to promote them for a commission.

I have a separate guide covering Systeme.io Affiliate Management if you want to explore that feature in detail.

07Systeme.io Webinars

Webinars are another part of the platform, including evergreen webinar functionality. This can be useful when a webinar is part of a larger funnel rather than being a completely separate marketing operation.

If webinars are part of your strategy, check out my Systeme.io Webinar Funnel guide.

08Digital Products and Creator Store

Systeme.io has also expanded into digital-product selling with the Creator Store. This is useful if you have templates, guides, downloads, courses or other digital products and want a simple storefront connected to the rest of your business.

For someone building an audience through social content, a simple product storefront can be a useful bridge between attention and an actual sale.

Selling digital products?

If that's your business model, don't overlook this part of Systeme.io. Your product can sit alongside the funnel, email and automation pieces instead of being managed somewhere completely separate.

▣

CRM Pipelines

Track prospects and deals using CRM pipelines instead of keeping every sales conversation disconnected from your marketing system.

◷

Booking Calendar

Let prospects book meetings through a built-in calendar connected to the rest of your funnel and follow-up system.

SMS

SMS Marketing

Use text messages as part of automation workflows for additional follow-up and customer communication.

C

Communities

Create a free or paid community and connect access to courses, funnels and other parts of your online business.

P

Physical Products

Sell physical products through funnel checkout pages, including product variants, inventory and shipping settings.

W

White Label

Agencies and resellers can use the white-label functionality to offer the platform under their own branding.

How Much Does Systeme.io Cost?

Pricing is one of the reasons Systeme.io gets so much attention. There is a permanent free option, alongside paid plans that increase the capacity available to you.

The important distinction is that upgrading isn't simply about going from a useless free product to a completely different paid product. The platform's current feature set is available across plans, while paid plans primarily increase limits such as contacts, funnels and courses.

That makes the free plan genuinely useful for testing the platform before committing money.

My advice before paying

Start with the free plan and actually build something. Don't spend money just because a pricing page tells you that a paid plan exists. If the free version works for what you're trying to build, you have a much better reason to upgrade later when your business needs more capacity.

If you want the exact current plan limits and pricing, see my Systeme.io pricing guide.

Why the All-in-One Approach Matters

The easiest way to understand Systeme.io isn't to look at every feature individually. Look at the journey a customer takes.

1

Someone discovers you

They find you through search, YouTube, social media, an affiliate recommendation or another traffic source.

2

They enter your funnel

A landing page, lead magnet, webinar or other funnel step gives them a reason to continue.

3

They become a contact

The person can enter your email marketing system so you can continue communicating with them.

4

Automation follows up

Emails, tags and other automated actions can move the person through the customer journey.

5

They see the offer

The funnel presents your course, digital product, service, membership or another offer.

6

They become a customer

The sale, delivery and follow-up can remain connected to the same overall system.

That's the real reason I find Systeme.io useful. It's not because I need a dozen separate features every day. It's because when I do need them, they're already part of the same ecosystem.

Systeme.io Pros and Cons

What I Like

  • Permanent free plan
  • Funnels and email marketing in one platform
  • Marketing automation
  • Online course functionality
  • Digital product selling
  • Affiliate management
  • Webinars
  • CRM and booking tools
  • Communities and newer business features
  • Less need to stitch together multiple core tools
  • I've been able to keep using it for almost three years

What I Don't Like

  • The text-highlighting editor bug I've personally experienced
  • Some design options can feel less flexible than specialist tools
  • Advanced users may eventually want deeper specialist functionality
  • An all-in-one platform won't necessarily beat every dedicated tool at its individual specialty

Who Should Use Systeme.io?

✓

Creators

If you're building an audience and want to sell courses, digital products, memberships or other offers, the combination of products, funnels and email can make sense.

✓

Coaches & Consultants

You can combine lead generation, booking, email follow-up, funnels and payments without building the entire system from separate tools.

✓

Affiliate Marketers

Funnels, email marketing and digital-product content can all be used to build an audience before presenting relevant affiliate offers.

✓

Small Online Businesses

If you're trying to keep software costs and complexity under control, having several core business functions in one place can be valuable.

Who Might Want Something Else?

I wouldn't recommend Systeme.io simply because it has a long feature list. If your business requires extremely advanced customization, highly specialized functionality or enterprise infrastructure, a collection of specialist platforms may make more sense.

The whole point of Systeme.io is the balance between capability and simplicity. If you want the deepest possible version of every individual tool, an all-in-one platform may not be your ideal setup.

Systeme.io vs Other Platforms

I don't think there is one platform that wins for every business. The more useful question is what you're actually trying to build.

Systeme.io vs ClickFunnels

Both can be used for sales funnels, but Systeme.io takes a broader all-in-one approach with email, courses, automation and other business functions included in the same ecosystem.

Systeme.io vs Kajabi

Kajabi is strongly associated with creators and online courses. Systeme.io also covers courses, but puts more emphasis on combining courses with funnels, email and broader marketing tools.

Systeme.io vs Kartra

Both take an all-in-one marketing approach. The practical comparison comes down to the features you need, pricing, workflow preferences and how much complexity you're comfortable managing.

For me, the strongest argument for Systeme.io isn't that it beats every competitor at everything. It's that I can accomplish a lot without constantly adding another subscription every time I want to build something new.

Is Systeme.io Really Free?

Yes. Systeme.io has a permanent free plan rather than simply giving you a short trial and then forcing an upgrade.

The current official pricing information shows the free plan with limits on things such as contacts, funnels and courses, while still providing core functionality such as email marketing. The exact limits and pricing can change, so I recommend checking the current pricing page before making a decision.

I think this is one of the strongest parts of the platform for someone who is just starting. You can actually build something before putting your credit card down.

Systeme.io Affiliate Program

Systeme.io also has an affiliate program, which is relevant if you're reviewing the platform because you plan to promote tools to your audience.

The official affiliate documentation currently states that affiliates can earn 60% of eligible sales of Systeme.io and its courses, with lifetime attribution described by Systeme.io. The help documentation also explains its tracking and payout conditions.

I have a separate, much deeper review of the program where I cover the commission structure and my own affiliate experience: Systeme.io Affiliate Program Review.

Interested in promoting Systeme.io?

If you already have an audience, blog, YouTube channel, email list or another content channel, the affiliate program may be worth investigating separately from the platform itself.

Can You Sell Digital Products With Systeme.io?

Yes. This is another area where the all-in-one approach becomes useful.

You can create a product, build a sales funnel around it, collect leads, follow up through email and automate parts of the customer journey. The newer Creator Store functionality gives creators another way to present and sell digital products.

If you're researching Systeme.io because you want to sell ebooks, templates, guides, courses, checklists or other downloadable products, I recommend reading my full guide: How to Sell Digital Products on Systeme.io.

My Systeme.io Rating

4.6 / 5
★★★★★

This is my personal overall rating after more than 2 years and 9 months of using Systeme.io. It reflects my actual experience, not an objective industry score.

  • Ease of use 4.7 / 5
  • Funnels 4.7 / 5
  • Email marketing 4.7 / 5
  • Automation 4.6 / 5
  • All-in-one value 4.8 / 5
  • Design flexibility 4.2 / 5
  • Reliability in my experience 4.7 / 5
  • Overall 4.6 / 5

My Final Verdict on Systeme.io

After using Systeme.io for more than 2 years and 9 months, I still use it. For me, that says more than a quick feature test ever could.

I've seen enough of the platform over time to know that it isn't perfect. The text-highlighting issue in the page editor is one example. But it's also important to keep that criticism in perspective: that's the only bug I've personally run into that has stood out enough for me to mention in this review.

The bigger reason I continue using Systeme.io is the convenience of having so many pieces of an online business connected in one place.

Funnels, email marketing, automation, courses, digital products, affiliate management, webinars and newer features such as CRM, booking, communities and Creator Store functionality all fit into the same broader system.

If you need the most advanced specialist tool for every single category, I wouldn't automatically choose an all-in-one platform. But if you want to build and operate an online business without turning your software stack into a mess of subscriptions and integrations, Systeme.io is worth trying.
